12/12【３年生】５時間目のようす
３年１組は国語で松尾芭蕉、３年２組は計算練習、３年３組は地球の自転。
昼休みとはうって変わって、授業には集中して取り組んでいます。 Class 3-1 is studying Matsuo Basho in Japanese, Class 3-2 is practicing calculations, and Class 3-3 is learning about the Earth's rotation. Differing from the lunch break, everyone is concentrating and actively participating in their classes. 
12/12【２年生】学年集会
２年生は多目的室で修学旅行のオリエンテーションでした。これからだんだんと事前学習が始まってきます。楽しみですね。
The second-grade students had an orientation for the school trip in the multipurpose room. Soon, they will gradually start with pre-trip learning. It's exciting, isn't it? 
12/12【１年生】５時間目のようす
１年１組は社会、１年２組は美術、１年３組は道徳。一生懸命がんばっています。
Class 1-1 is studying social studies, Class 1-2 is doing art, and Class 1-3 is learning ethics. Everyone is working hard and doing their best. 
12/11 吹奏楽部アンコンおめでとう
昼休み、吹奏楽部の生徒たちが、アンサンブルコンテスト県南支部大会の結果報告に来てくれました。
金管五重奏、木管八重奏ともに「金賞」受賞。 さらに木管八重奏は県大会出場を決めました。 練習時間の限られている中で、本当によく頑張りました。 喜多方プラザへ向けて、また心を合わせていってほしいと思います。 During lunch break, the school band students came to share good news about the Kennan Ensemble Contest. Both the brass quintet and woodwind octet got a "Gold Award." And, the woodwind octet will be going to the prefectural competition! Even with limited practice time, they did a great job. Let's continue to unite their hearts and strive towards the Kitakata Plaza.

１年生は総合的な学習の時間に、職業調べを始めました。
中学時代に夢を探すことは、これからの活力の源を見つけることにつながると思います。 さまざまな将来の姿を描いてみてください。 ご家庭でも話題にしていただけると幸いです。 First-grade students started researching careers during their integrated learning time. I believe that exploring dreams during junior high school can lead to finding a source of future vitality. Please try envisioning various future possibilities. It would be great if family could discuss this at home as well. 
12/05【２年生】職業講話
５・６時間目に、２学年で職業講話が行われました。
あいさつやお辞儀、笑顔など、将来だけでなく、これからの生活でも役に立つ大切なことを、実演を交えてお話しいただきました。 子どもたちも、自分が好きなこと、得意なこと、認められることを探して、自分の未来をたのしく想像していました。 During the 5th and 6th periods, the 2nd-grade students had a career talk. They were shown practical demonstrations of essential skills such as greetings, bows, and smiles. The speaker emphasized that these skills would not only be beneficial for their future but also in their daily lives. The students actively engaged in identifying their interests, strengths, and areas where they receive recognition. This led them to envision a future filled with excitement and joy.

３年生の体育祭が行われました。受験に向けて、クラス、学年の一致団結。大盛り上がりでした。
12/01 ２年定期テスト
本日、延期した２年生の定期テストIIIを実施しました。
今日受けられなかった生徒については、来週、登校できるようになってから対応してまいります。 まずは体調の回復を優先していただきたいと思います。 土日もインフルエンザの感染予防に努めていただき、お気をつけてお過ごしください。 
11/29【１年生】ＳＤＧｓ出前講座を行いました
１年生は５・６校時に、ＳＤＧｓ出前講座を行いました。
桑野協立病院の方から「もったいない」などの知恵や考え方がＳＤＧｓにもつながっていることや、日本の取り組みの状況をお聞きしました。 また、セブンイレブンの方からプラスチック削減など具体的なお話を聞くことができて、生徒たちは熱心にメモを取っていました。 【JAPAN SDGs Action Platform（外務省）】 https://www.mofa.go.jp/mofaj/gaiko/oda/sdgs/ind... 【みんなでみんなのSDGs（セブンイレブン）】 https://www.7andi.com/sustainability/g_challeng... In the 5th and 6th periods, the 1st-grade students had a special lecture on SDGs. Representatives from Kuwano Kyoritsu Hospital shared wisdom and perspectives, such as the concept of "mottainai," and how it relates to SDGs. They also talked about the current situation of SDG efforts in Japan. Additionally, representatives from Seven-Eleven discussed practical ways to reduce plastic usage. The students were actively taking notes and showed great interest in the topic. 
11/29【１年生】１・２組の体育、３組のテスト返し
１年生のようすです。テスト明けで、体育で体を動かすのは気持ちいいですね。そのころ３組では、さっそくテストが返されていました。バンザーイ（？）

２年生のはんだ付けも上手になってきて、だんだんと形になってきました。もうすぐ完成しそうです。
11/21【２年生】体育祭
２年生の体育祭が行われました。
職員室にも元気な歓声が響いてきました。 わたしもＡＥＴと友垣の子供たちの長縄に混ぜてもらいました。 The second-grade sports festival took place. Cheers of excitement echoed in the staff room. I also joined the long rope skipping with the children from Tomogaki and AET. 
11/20【３年生】「まなぼう教室」
３年生では、野村グループから講師の方をお招きして、野村まなぼう教室が行われました。
地域の課題を解決してより良い生き方を模索します。班ごとに分かれての話し合い、さいごはポスターセッションを行いました。 講師のみなさんから「レベルが高い」と称賛されていました。さすがですね。 In the third grade, we had instructors from the Nomura Group visit, and the Nomura Manabou Classroom was conducted. They discussed solutions to local challenges and explored better ways of living. They divided into groups for discussions and, in the end, conducted a poster session. The instructors praised us, saying, "The level is high." Well done! 
11/20【１年１組】部品加工まできました
１年１組の技術は、木材を切って、面取りをして、釘の位置を確かめるところまで来ました。次回は釘打ちに進める生徒もでてくるでしょう。カンナとかヤスリ、久しぶりに使いました。
Class 1-1's technology class has reached the point of cutting wood, chamfering, and checking the positions for nails. In the next session, some students will likely move on to hammering nails. We also used tools like a plane and file, which we haven't used in a while. カンナ…plane ヤスリ…file 
11/16 避難訓練を行いました
今日は、避難訓練を行いました。
阿武隈川の水位が上がり、水害のおそれがあるという想定のもと、小原田小学校へ避難をするというものです。 生徒は真剣に取り組み、落ち着いて、事故なく、避難を完了することができました。 災害はいつ、どこにいるときに起きるとも分かりません。ぜひ、ご家庭で話題にしていただき、避難方法や避難場所を確認していただきたいと思います。 Today, we conducted an evacuation exercise. Due to the rising water level of the Abukuma River and the potential risk of flooding, we practiced evacuating to Koharada Elementary School. The students approached the drill seriously, remained calm, and were able to complete the evacuation without any accidents. Disasters can happen anytime, anywhere. Please discuss this at home and make sure to confirm evacuation procedures and locations. 
11/15【３年１組】英語の授業
３年生の英語は、関係代名詞について学習していました。
偉人について、関係代名詞を使って紹介しています。 教頭先生も題材にしてもらえて、ありがたいことです。 ちなみに、いまの技術科は「Technology Education」がいいようです。 In 3rd grade English, they were learning about relative pronouns. They were using relative pronouns to introduce famous people. It's great that the Assistant Principal could be used as a subject for this. 
11/15【２年１組】数学の授業
２年１組では図形の学習をしていました。
３つの合同条件について学んでいました。覚えていますか？ 三角形を意味する「△」をつけ忘れないようにしないといけませんね。 In class 2nd -1, they were studying geometry. They were learning about three congruence conditions. Do you remember? Make sure not to forget to put the symbol "△" which means a triangle, okay? 
11/15【１年１組】総合の時間
いま、１年生はＳＤＧｓについて学んでいます。
ロイロノートの共有ノートを使って、調べた内容をお互いに見せあっていました。 本校が現在取り組んでいるペーパーレスは、ゴール８「働きがいも経済成長も」とゴール１２「つくる責任つかう責任」にあたります。 ＳＤＧｓについては私も学んでいるところですが、子供たちと一緒に考え、行動していければと思います。 Right now, the first-grade students are learning about SDGs. Using LoiLoNote's shared notes, they were showing each other what they found in their research. Our school is currently working on going paperless, which aligns with Goal 8 "Decent Work and Economic Growth" and Goal 12 "Responsible Consumption and Production." I am also learning about SDGs, and I hope to think and act together with the children on this matter.
