This is a report on the physical education class of 3rd grade, Class 2 & 3.

Today, we played badminton and volleyball.

１年３組では、投影図について学習していました。

黒板を見ながら定規でていねいに作図をしたり、デジタル教科書で一人一人シミュレーションしてみたりと、多様な学びをしていました。


In Class 1-3, they were learning about projection drawings.

They carefully drew diagrams using a ruler while looking at the blackboard,

and they also did various activities such as simulating on digital textbooks individually.

２年２組は、理科室で、電熱線の発熱量を測る実験を行っていました。

これまでに学習した、電流計や電圧計のつなぎ方、温度計やメスシリンダーの使い方など、さまざまな内容を含んだ実験です。

班ごとに協力して進めていました。いい結果が出るといいですね。


Class 2-2 conducted an experiment in the science room to measure the heat generated by an electric heating wire.

The experiment included things they have learned before, like connecting devices called ammeter and voltmeter, and using tools like a thermometer and a graduated cylinder.

Each group worked together to make progress. Let's hope for good results!

２年生は総合の時間に、それぞれが修学旅行の訪問先の見どころついて調べてきました。

今日はその発表会です。自分のおすすめを写真を交えてプレゼンしました。

班別自主研修や学級別研修など、考えること、話し合うこと、決めることがたくさんあります。

これからもみんなで楽しく頑張ってほしいと思います。


In second-grade class, during integrated studies, each student researched the highlights of their upcoming school trip destinations.

Today is the presentation day, where they shared their recommendations along with photos.

There are many activities like group self-study and class-specific training, involving a lot of thinking, discussion, and decision-making.

I hope everyone continues to work together happily and does their best in the future.

今日は市総合教育支援センターから特別支援教育アドバイザーの先生がお越しになりました。

友垣の子供たちが先生方と一緒にがんばっている様子を見ていただきました。

Today, a special education advisor from the City Comprehensive Education Support Center visited our school.

They observed the children of Tomogaki doing their best along with the teachers.

Thank you very much for taking the time to come to our school, despite your busy schedule.

放課後、生徒会の学校議会が行われました。

生徒会役員、各専門委員会委員長、各部活動部長、各学級委員長が一堂に会しました。

生徒会長より、この会の趣旨が説明され、後期生徒会総会に向けて、議案書審議などの準備を始める日程などが説明されました。

３年生からのバトンを引き継いで、２年生、１年生もがんばっています。


After school, the school council meeting for the student council took place.

Student council officers, heads of each specialized committee, club activity leaders, and class representatives gathered together.

The student council president explained the purpose of this meeting.

Then, details about the schedule for preparations leading up to the second semester student council general meeting, such as reviewing draft proposals, were explained.

Taking over the baton from the third-year students, the second-year and first-year students are also working hard.

１年生の授業の様子です。１組は英語、２組は技術、３組は国語です。

英語の授業では汚れた水を飲んで毎日８００人の子供が亡くなっていることを学んだり、国語の授業では不便さを認めて生かす試みについて学んだりしていました。

「今もですか！？」と驚いたり「それが３組のいいところです。」などと反応する子どもたち。教科の学習を通して、生き方や世界のことを学んでいるようでした。

２組では言われなくても工具の掃除を自ら手伝う生徒もいて、しっかりと成長している姿を見ることができました。



This is a scene from the first-grade classes. Class 1 is for English, Class 2 is for technical subjects, and Class 3 is for Japanese language.

In the English class, the students learned about the unfortunate fact that 800 children die every day from drinking contaminated water.

In the Japanese language class, they learned about efforts to recognize inconvenience and turn it into something positive.

They were surprised and reacted with comments like, "Is that still happening!?" and "That's the good thing about our class."

It seemed like they were learning about life and the world through their subject studies.

In Class 2, a student voluntarily helped clean the tools without being told, and I could see them growing and developing responsibly.

雪が積もりました。校庭も白くなりました。

今朝は校門を雪かきしてくれる生徒がいました。ありがとう。

体育館では体力作りが行われていました。がんばってね。

寒さに負けずに、元気に過ごしましょう。


It snowed. The schoolyard turned white.

This morning, there were students shoveling snow at the school gate. Thank you.

In the gym, they were doing exercises to build strength. Keep up the good work.

３学期が始まって１週間となりました。

今日の昼間は、気温は低かったですが、おだやかな天気でした。

昼休み、子供たちは校庭で遊んだり、委員会の仕事をしたりしています。


The third term has started, and it's been a week.

Today during the day, even though it was a bit chilly, the weather was calm.

During lunch break, the kids played in the schoolyard and worked on committee tasks.

今日は冬休み明けの実力テストです。

３年生はもちろん、１、２年生も５時間目まで集中して取り組んでいました。

冬休みのがんばりが発揮できること、足りなかったところに気づけることを、期待しています。


Today is the proficiency test after winter break.

Not only the third-grade students but also the first and second-grade students concentrated and worked on it until the fifth period.

We hope to see the results of your efforts during the winter break, and that you can identify the parts where you may have some deficiencies.

今日は郡山市教育委員会の指導主事の先生方にお越しいただき、研修会を行いました。

本校の全国学力・学習状況調査の結果を踏まえて、国語、数学、英語の３教科について、どのように授業を改善していけばいいかご指導をいただきました。

指導主事の先生方、お忙しいなか、ご来校いただき誠にありがとうございました。



Today, we had teachers from the Koriyama City Board of Education come to our school to conduct a training session.

Taking into account the results of our school's "National Assessment of Academic Ability", the teachers provided guidance on how to improve lessons in the subjects of Japanese, mathematics, and English.
