10/31【１年生】給食の時間です
今日は１年生の給食準備を見に行きました。
自分たちでできるようになってきました。 給食当番とクラスのみんなの連携が大切です。 Today, I went to see the preparation of lunch for the 1st graders. They are getting better at doing it theireselves. It's important for the lunch duty team and everyone in the class to work together.

約３０人分のごはんを、上手に分けきれたでしょうか？ しっかり食べてくださいね。 Today's school lunch is rice (staple food). Did they divide the rice skillfully for about 30 people？ Make sure to eat well! 
10/30【友垣３】連立方程式を解いています
友垣３の教室では、数学の先生と熱心に連立方程式を解いていました。
明日、２年生は「計算力コンテスト」です。みんな、がんばれ。 At Tomogaki 3, the students were diligently solving simultaneous equations with their math teacher. Tomorrow, the second-year students have the "Calculation Skills Contest." Everyone, do your best! 連立方程式・・・"simultaneous equations" 
10/30【１年１組】技術の授業
１組の生徒たちは先生からのこぎりの使い方を教わりました。
２時間目からは、実際に自分の材料を切り始めました。 The students in Class 1 learned how to use a saw from the teacher. Starting from the second period, they began cutting their own materials. 
10/30【３年生】学年集会を行いました
３年生が学年集会を行い、進路指導担当の先生のお話を食い入るように聞いていました。
私立高校、県立高校、それぞれの進路実現に向けて準備が始まります。 「受験は団体戦だ！」の意味をだんだん実感しますね。 Third graders held a grade-level assembly and listened attentively to the guidance counselor's speech. They were starting to prepare for their future paths, whether it be private high schools or public high schools. They were gradually starting to grasp the meaning of "Entrance exams are like a team battle!" 
10/27【３年生】給食準備します
４校時が終わり、そそくさと給食の準備が始まります。
１組、当番が配膳を始めました。 ２組、麺はくばり終わりました。 ３組、「今日のスープなに！？」 After the fourth period, lunch preparation started in a hurry. Class 1, began serving the meal. Class 2, finished dividing the noodles. Class 3 asked "What's the soup today!?" 
10/24 生徒会室をきれいにしました
文化祭を終えて、いよいよ引退を迎えた生徒会本部役員の７人が、
「これまでお世話になった生徒会室をきれいにしたい！」 と言ってがんばっていました。 「生徒会室をきれいにしたら引退していいよ」 って言われたからではないと思います（おそらく） これで新役員へ引き継げます。おつかれさまでした。 
10/24【３年１組】体育館で体育をしました
３年１組は友垣クラスとともに、体育館で球技をしました。
止まっているボールを打つのも難しいのだから、 飛んでくるボールを打ち返すってすごいよね。 Class 3-1 played ball games in the gym with Tomogaki class. It's really impressive to hit a ball that's not staying still, isn't it? Wow, baseball players are amazing! 
10/23【２年３組】技術、ハンダづけの練習
今日は技術でハンダ付けの練習をしました。
さいしょは松ヤニのけむりに焦っていましたが、しだいに上手になっていました。 製作に入るのが楽しみですね。 ハンダ・・・solder ハンダ付け・・・soldering ハンダごて・・・soldering iron 
10/19 文化祭準備がんばってます
いよいよ明日は小原田中文化祭「友垣祭」です。
さいごの合唱練習を終えて、体育館にイスを並べました。 会場づくり、係ごとのリハーサル、発表者たちのリハーサル、 いろいろなところで子供たちと先生方が頑張っています。 明日の小原田中は、熱くなりそうですヽ(´▽`)/ 
10/19【１年３組】家庭科で調理実習をしました
３・４校時には、３組も調理実習を行いました。
周りに教えてもらいながら調味料を計る子、油が跳ねるのに耐える子、洗い物をがんばる子。 つくる人の苦労を実感しました。お家でもチャレンジしてみてください。 During the 3rd and 4th periods, Class 3 also had a cooking practice session. Some students measured seasonings with help from others, some endured the splashing oil, and some worked hard on washing the dishes. They realized the efforts of those who cook. You can also try challenging yourself at home. 
10/19【３年２・３組】体育、ベースボール型球技です
校庭では３年生がソフトボールを行っていました。
今は、投げる・打つ・捕る・走る等の基礎的な技能を学ぶ球技として学習しています。 外野の頭を越える打球に、歓声が上がっていました。 In the schoolyard, the 3rd grade students were playing softball. Right now, they are learning fundamental skills such as pitching, batting, catching, and running as a baseball type ball game. Cheers erupted when the ball was hit over the outfielder's head. 
10/19【２年１組】技術のハンダ付けを練習しました
２年生は「エネルギーの変換の技術」を学習しています。
今日はハンダ付けの練習をしました。 次回から手回しラジオの製作が始まります。 2nd grade students are learning about 'Energy Conversion Techniques.' Today, they practiced soldering. Starting from the next time, they will begin making a hand-crank radio. 
10/19【１年２組】家庭科で調理実習をしました
１・２校時に、家庭科で調理実習を行いました。
メニューは「肉じゃが」と「ほうれんそうのおひたし」です。 みんなで協力していました。おいしくできたかな？ 1-2's students had cooking practice in home economics during the 1st and 2nd periods. The menu was 'Nikujaga' and 'Spinach Salad.' They all worked together. I wonder if it turned out delicious? 
10/18【２年１組】英語の授業
英語の学習は、町の中の福祉のお話です。
今はいろいろなことを題材にして学ぶのですね。 今日も新しい単語が出てきていました。 In English class, they are learning about the town's welfare services. Right now, they are using various topics to teach English. New words came up today as well. 
10/18【２年２組】国語の授業
国語は「モアイは語る」を学習しています。
先生が見つけてきた「モアイが歩いて移動した説」を動画で見て、みんなで笑いました。 ちなみに「モアイ」は、イースター島のラパヌイ語で「未来に生きる」という意味だそうです。 In Japanese language class, they are studying‘The Moai Speak.' Our teacher showed us a video about the‘Moai Walking Theory',and we all had a good laugh. By the way,‘Moai' means‘living for the future' in the Rapa Nui language of Easter Island. 
10/18【２年３組】理科の授業
今日の理科は、気象観測についてまとめました。
雲量を習ったので、空を見上げるたびに天気が分かりますね。 雲量０〜１が「快晴」、２〜８が「晴れ」、９〜１０が「くもり」です。 今日は…快晴ですね。 Today in science class, we summarized information about weather observations. Since we learned about cloud cover, we can now tell the weather just by looking up at the sky. Cloud cover 0-1 means‘clear', 2-8 means‘fine', and 9-10 means‘cloudy.' Today is... a clear sky, isn't it? 
10/18【１年３組】数学のようす
今日の数学のめあては「２つの数量の間に関数の関係があるか調べる」です。
ｘやｙの文字にも少しずつ慣れてきたでしょうか。 例題の正方形を解いたあとは、長方形について考えてみます。 Today's math objective is to investigate whether there is a functional relationship between two quantities. You're getting more familiar with the letters x and y, right? After solving the example problem involving squares, we'll think about rectangles. 
10/17【美術部】シンボルマークを運んでいます
放課後、美術部のみんなが完成したシンボルマークを運んでいました。
壁や天井にぶつけないように慎重に運んでいました。 ステージにセッティングすれば完了です。がんばりました。 After school, everyone in the art club was carrying the completed symbol mark. They were carefully carrying it to avoid hitting the walls or ceiling. Once they set it up on the stage, it was complete. They worked hard.
