Today the first year students completed different research projects to do with the environment. They worked very hard throughout the day. Some of their projects included:
* Measuring electricity use
* Growing vegetables
* Cleaning/Filtering water
* Studying and identifying leaves
* Measuring trees
* Recycling and painting boxes
* Recording the temperature
* Making paper

It is very easy to make your own paper. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Break down used milk cartons.
2. Soak the paper in water, then split it into layers.
3. Mix in a blender with a little water and coloured paint.
4. Place in a tray, flatten and remove the water.
5. Dry outside in the sun.

The environment in Japan is very beautiful, so please remember to always look after it by doing simple things like recycling, saving water and planting trees.

　環境問題に取り組んでいる１学年。午前中の調査活動を終え、
壁新聞にまとめているところです。

　３組Ａ班の田村君、三瓶君は、「電力消費とエコ」をテーマに、
学校の電気メーターから何分間で何キロワットの電気を消費しているかを調べ、あることがわかったそうです。
　同じくＩ班の、添田さん、田母神さん、矢吹さんは「家庭でできるエコ（レジ袋
を減らす」をテーマに、店内でエコバッグを使用している人といない人の実数を調べ
あることがわかったそうです。ここでそれぞれお知らせしたいところですが、
